Justin & Lucas Wedding Stationery

These wedding pieces were stylish, moody, and creative. The sophistication of the wedding venue, the Toledo Museum of Art, inspired this design along with the vision of the grooms, Justin and Lucas. Lucas’ affinity for circle shapes and their meaning in his life, along with the number five added a nice overlapping touch on to the splash of watercolor that flooded half the invitation suite. This created a moody, creative, natural effect that set the tone for their big day. Together we created save the dates, pocketed invitations, day-of signage, a snapchat filter, a pet portrait of their adorable dog, Bee, and a stamp for their party favor bags. The colors included navy, and emerald with accents of white, gold, and charcoal.

The save the date cards feature a photo by Swatch Studios and a clean, modern emblem with the date listed. The back is a preview of the color combination. The eclipse stamp on the envelope ties in the subtle circle theme with the circle emblem.

The invitations feature a navy pocket to hold three cards – the invitation, rsvp card, and details card. The Outer envelope was white to tie in the accent color with their circle emblem on the back flap. The stamp on the outer envelope was selected because of it’s modern art-museum aesthetic. The RSVP envelope was emerald to tie in their other primary color in the color palette. The RSVP envelope stamp was selected to because it features modern, spherical shapes, and “The Art of Magic” which is fitting since these two got married at an art museum.

The welcome sign features their branded event artwork and a sweet poem.

The reception signage features more branded event artwork with fun quotes, and sayings. We created a sign at the dancefloor, two small quote signs to sit atop the bar, a bar menu with curated signature drink illustrations, party favors (aka hangover kits) with a custom stamped bag, head table place cards and a snapchat filter. All of which match the design from the invitation suite to make the whole event cohesive.
